CIDR notation is supported, e.g. `whitelist=192.168.1.0/24,10.0.0.5`.
### id-whitelist
Use ID whitelisting. Only the listed IDs can connect to this device.
Wildcards are supported: `*` matches any number of characters, `?` matches exactly one character. Matching is case-insensitive.
**Note**: The ID is reported by the connecting client, so it is not an authentication mechanism. This whitelist reduces exposure, it does not replace the password or 2FA.
**Location**:
1. **Desktop** Settings → Security → Security → Use ID whitelisting
2. **Mobile** Settings → Share screen → Use ID whitelisting
