- Avoids requiring a hardcoded number of frames (and creating surfaces ourselves)
- Removes a ton of unnecessary code that's duplicated in FFmpeg
- Supports dynamic frame sizes, formats, and color conversion
- Supports frame cropping in FFmpeg
